"Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people. … The real difference is that [Harry Potter author] Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and [Twilight author] Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good." - Stephen King

HEAR HEAR! I've always thought that Meyer's writing is draggy & irrelevant at times. It's too simple & childish for young adults, yet it substitutes easy to understand words with too difficult words which children actually have to look up in the dictionary, which is completely unnecessary. & the series has too much sexual tension to be a children's book.

She can NEVER be the next JK Rowling. Never, I tell you. Not even close.

& I'm devastated that my Jason Mraz lost to stinky, attention-seeking, boytoy John Mayer, who hasn't come up with anything worthwhile for the past few years. All he does nowadays is attract unwanted press on his whorish ways & his relationship with Jennifer Aniston.

(I don't hate Mayer, on the contrary, I do like his music & his sometimes dorky blog posts & videos, but REALLY, he doesn't deserve a Grammy for "Say" when he hasn't put out any good music in YEARS & has only been attracting attention for his way with ladies.)

Stupid Grammys, sticking to safe choices as usual. -__-" Doesn't matter. Mraz has us, which is much beyond industry recognition.
